Cafeteria Rewards!

The MECC started a new incentive program during lunches that the kids seem pretty excited about. Classes have the opportunity to be recognized for "bee-ing" "safe, kind and ready". When they do this the class earns a Bee for their beehive. When the class earns 10 Bees, they will spin the reward wheel to see what they have earned (extra recess, fine dining, the golden tray, mystery reader...)

Please ask your student about how their class is doing!

Pumpkin Investigation!

Mrs. Fostello, Ms. Sousa, Mrs. Lord and Miss Trask's classes got together  to investigate pumpkins. They observed and described the outside and inside of an orange and white pumpkin and then dug in to count all the seeds! The kids did an amazing job counting and sorting them into groups of 10. And had a total of 655 seeds!
